Expectation & Passion = Success!
In our daily work, we have seen many people rushing for their work to be done or going around to make more sales calls to clear their target. Have you wondered why we are working so hard?
How come there are people who can achieve their success much earlier while some take a longer time? What makes them different from the rest?
After talking to many people in different industries, I reckon that it is due to their expectations in their life. I know of people who literally work 18hr per day and still no complains yet on the other extreme, there are people who only works 8 hours and complains that they are tired of working and wish to have lesser working hours. The kind of expectations are very different for these two group of people. One seeks for a better quality and fulfillment of life in future and the other group is seeking a more relaxed and stress free lifestyle now.
Other than expectations, the other reason that I believed is common among the successful people is that they love what they do and its called passion! Having passion but without much capital on a business is better than having money to do business but without any interest on it. Passion can ignite the fire and energy inside you that can creates miracles!
Be it because of money, love or even religious purposes, it will push you to do many unbelievable things. Once you even find the right expectations and be able to ignite the fire in you, I can assure you that success is 80% within reach. The remaining lies in external environment and luck.
If you still don’t believed or convinced that it works, think back on the old times where you excel in either one particular computer game or sports. Remember the time and efforts that you put in to be so good in it. That’s the same amount of effort and time that you need to be successful in things that you do right now in life!
For those who are michael jackson fans, i believed you have watched his latest movie ‘This is it’ and you would have noticed that he was really a professional and was so passionate about his own music production and dance moves. He remembers every single moves and songs. Despite the fact that he is king of pop, he still practises so hard for his concerts. That is what i called expectation with passion creates success!
So the question is whether are you ready to put in numerous amount of time in your work and having high expectation of yourself? Are you ready to be successful?
